If you love the real thing, get ready for a Grand Opening Party in Bar Harbor.

The Jesup Memorial Library launches a new, used bookstore, right next door to the library and you're invited to the party. In fact, if you're so inclined, you can dress up as your favorite book character and prizes will be awarded to children of all ages (that means adults too) for the best costumes.

The party is March First and the bookstore is called Second Hand Prose.

Melinda Rice tells us the revenue from the used bookstore will help support the operations of the Library.

"Libraries have evolved to become community centers, and that's what we are. The book store is just another way for us to serve our community," Rice stated.
