Searchers found a body on Friday, while looking for a missing North Yarmouth school teacher.

Kristin Westra was last seen Sunday night at her home. When her family awoke Monday morning, she was gone, but her car and cellphone were still at the house. Searchers have been combing the area around her home, and police have asked for tips ever since she disappeared. Westra's husband told authorities that his wife has been feeling stressed lately, about renovations at their home and about work.

At approximately 10:30 Friday morning, the Cumberland County Sheriff's Office says the Regional Communications Center got a phone call reporting that a body had been found in a wooded area off of the Gray Road in North Yarmouth. The body was taken to the State Medical Examiner's Office for an autopsy to positively identify the deceased and determine cause of death.

The investigation continues with the Cumberland County Sheriff's Office and the Maine State Police.
