Motorcycle and hot rod enthusiasts will want to be at this show next month that will include a burn-out pit! All the money raised by the event will benefit the family of a little boy who's battling cancer.

BB's Tattoo Company is hosting its 8th Annual Bike and Hot Rod Show on Sunday, August 3rd, at their location in Newport. Registration begins at 9:30 and it's just a $5 fee to enter your vehicle. Judging will begin at 1 p.m., with awards for Best Paint, Daily Rider, Custom Bike, People's Choice, Iron Butt, and Bad A** Rod!

The day will include plenty of vendors, a dunk tank, food, live music from the Rick Johnson Band, and a burn-out pit! The side-by-side burnout contest is scheduled for 12:30. Tattoo Joe tells me there are a few vendor spots left for interested businesses. There is no charge for taking part, but Joe asks that each business find a way to pay it forward.

All the money raised on Sunday will benefit a 4-year-old from Charleston and his family deal with the expenses of battling cancer. Joe says Dylan is doing well dealing with his leukemia, despite all the radiation therapy and doctor's appointments that go with his disease. Over the past seven years, this event has raised over $22,000 for various families from the community!

Registration for the show begins at 9:30. The 8th Annual BB's Tattoo Company Bike and Hot Rod Show will be held this Sunday, August 3rd, at BB's Tattoo Company on the Moosehead Trail in Newport. For more information, check out the Facebook page for BB's Tattoo Company!
