Earlier this week, current customers of Netflix began receiving what looks like a very official email asking users to update their personal information.  Beware, it's not real!

According to FireEye.com, "A link inside the email body directs recipients to a page that attempts to mimic a Netflix login page."

After you log in using your real email address and real Netflix password, you're then directed to a couple of different pages that look very legitimate asking you to update your billing and payment information.  This is where the scammers get your full name, address, date of birth, credit or debit card info and Social Security #.  After filling in those fields, users are then sent/taken to the legitimate Netflix home page.

The email looks real, and so do the fraudulent pages that the scammers provide after clicking the link in the mailing.  Don't be fooled!  More details about this phishing scam can be found at FireEye.com, and important information on how you can keep you NetFlix account secure can be found at https://help.netflix.com/en/node/13243.
