So a duck walks into a pharmacy and says to the clerk, "Chapstick please."

The clerk responds, "Cash or check?"

The duck says, "Just put it on my bill."

Get it? Bill? I know, pretty lame, huh?

But I'll tell you this, there's nothing lame about the 15th Annual Rubber Duck Race this Saturday, September, 8th, on the Kenduskeag Stream in downtown Bangor.

It's all to benefit the Good Samaritan Agency's services for single parents, childcare center, and adoption program.

You can buy a duck for $5, or 6 ducks for $25. The ducks are randomly put in the stream starting at 10am just off the foot bridge behind Pickering Square, and they'll float to the finish line at the Cental Street Bridge.

There'll be prizes for winning ducks, and even the last place duck gets a prize. You don't even have to be present to win. So call this number and sponsor your duck now: 207-942-7211.
