Bangor Rotary Holiday Dinner and Auction

It's a great chance to have a delicious meal and pick up some Christmas gifts at the same time. And all the proceeds will benefit Bangor Area Breakfast Rotary Club charities!

Each year, the Bangor Area Breakfast Rotary Club hosts the dinner and auction. This year's event will be held on December 6th in Maine Hall at Eastern Maine Community College. It all kicks off at 5:30 with Happy Hour and a silent auction.

Carol Anne Dube told me the dinner gets underway at 6:30, prepared at the school. The menu includes prime rib, pan-seared chicken and sunfried tomato and garlic cream sauce, grilled swordfish with mediterranean salsa, and a Lo Mein vegetable stir fry. And it's all topped off with whoopie pies for dessert! After dinner, the fun moves on to a live auction with some great items up for bid!

The money raised at the Holiday Dinner and Auction will be used for local scholarships and will support Breakfast Rotary Club charities. Tickets are $45 per person and will be available at the door, or you can buy them in at advance by calling Michele Rowles at 989-7497. Sounds like a fun and delicious evening!
