Bangor Police Investigating Stabbing

Bangor Police are investigating after a man showed up at the hospital with a serious stab wound.

Sergeant Wade Betters said police were called to the emergency department at around 9:30 Tuesday morning. When they arrived, they found a 22-year-old man who had been stabbed and was seeking medical treatment.

Officials believe he was wounded during an altercation which took place outside a residence on First Street. His name has not been released. The incident is under investigation and police say they have no reason to believe that the public is in any danger.
