Bangor Police Charge Duo in East Side Burglaries
Bangor Police have charged two people with a string of home-invasion burglaries on the East Side of the city.
Nathan Paulette, 28, and Chelsea Davis, 26, of Bangor have each been charged with five counts of class B burglary and are currently being held at the Penobscot County Jail.
There have been 21 nighttime home burglaries since August. Many of these burglaries occurred while the residents were home and without their knowledge until they awoke to find that their homes had been entered.
The arrests came after Bangor officers were called to a home on the east side of the city at about 4 a.m. The homeowner called for assistance after a dog alerted them to an intruder’s presence.
Investigators continue to follow leads and interview witnesses.
