Bangor PD On The Lookout For Red Light Runners

Are you one of those very dangerous sort of folk that runs through red lights in Bangor?  You may want to start abiding by the law real soon!

The Bangor Police Department has made a New Year's Resolution to catch as many of these traffic morons as they can.

According to a post on the Department's Facebook page, a "Special Enforcement Team" will be on the lookout!

From the information posted today, "This is a group of individuals that have been sent on a special mission. Initially, it is to write every red light violator a ticket. Will we catch everyone of them? Of course not. But we will write many, many tickets and many different locations around Bangor. We will not be just using Black and White cruisers in this enforcement effort. There is your fair warning. STOP at the RED LIGHT. Do it because you could kill someone but also do it because even if you make it through the gauntlet, it is going to cost you $131.00 per trip."
