Bangor's Festival of Lights parade will being at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 5, 2015.

"This event is something the club looks forward to organizing every year as it really brings together people from not only Bangor but the entire region to kick off the holiday season,” said Rotarian Roland Narofsky, parade co-chair. “It is fun, festive and a wonderful event for children and grown-ups alike.”

This year's theme will be "Light Up The Season." The parade will be followed by the city's tree lighting ceremony in West Market Square.

Above is some very cool footage from the 2012 parade from Bangor photographer Jeff Kirlin.

It will be the first time the parade has been held since 2013. Organizers cancelled the parade in 2014 because of severe weather.
