Wednesday marks the second anniversary of the disappearance of Geraldine Largay, who was last seen hiking the Appalachian Trail in Maine, and authorities aren't giving up in their search for the woman.

The Brentwood, Tennessee woman was last seen July 22, 2013, at Poplar Lean-to. Largay was planning on hiking to Spaulding Lean-to in Mount Abram Township that day. The following day, July 23, she was supposed to meet up with her husband where the trail crosses Route 27 in Wyman Township, but she never made it.

In a press released issued Tuesday, Cpl. John MacDonald of the Maine Warden Service said Maine game wardens, searchers from the Maine Association of Search and Rescue, Maine State Police and the Franklin County Sheriff's Department continue to work together, strategizing the search for Largay.

MacDonald says game wardens continue to plan future search efforts and will include areas that have not previously had ground search resources.

A $25,000 reward remains available for anyone who can provide information that leads investigators to Largay. Anyone with information is asked to call the Maine Warden Service at 207-624-7076.
