Nelson Jewell

God, family, country, and blue collar roots—in that order … that pretty much describes me. I'm a Mainer through and through. After dusting off the snow, I stumbled out of Presque Isle, Maine, back in the late 70’s to attend UMaine, and have never left the Bangor area since. From farm work, logging, aviation, education, and broadcasting, you might say I've lived an adventurous life. I love my wife (the bumper sticker on my truck says so), children, grandkids, church family, my crazy dogs, my ‘ol ‘97 GMC truck, motorcycle, country music, and a cold one once in a while to take the edge off. Be sure to listen in weekday afternoons on Maine’s Fun Country Station…Q-106.5.

Mother-Son Wedding Dance an Epic Mashup! [VIDEO]

I love it when someone decides to break social convention and does something totally out of the ordinary. Take weddings for example. Most weddings are pretty straight forward, i.e., normal ceremony, traditional songs, pictures at the end, blah, blah, blah

Movie Theater Goers that Drive You Nuts! [VIDEO]

There was a time that I really loved going to the movies. But because of the expense and the convenience of watching hi-def videos at home, I don't go very often. Of course the other reason I really don't care for the movie theater are the inconsiderate patrons
