JR is the Morning Host & Brand Manager at Q-106.5 in Bangor, Maine. 2 Time CMA Nominee for Small Market Personality of the Year, 1 Time ACM Nominee for Small Market Personality of the Year. When not behind a mic on-air, you can find JR behind the mic DJ'ing events all over the State of Maine for High Tech Entertainment and also singing some of the songs you love to listen to on the radio. JR was the Male Vocalist & Entertainer of the Year in both the Pine Tree State Country Music Association & DECMA (Downeast Country Music Association). He can also be called a 'Geek'...yes, if it's electronic, from computers, to the latest tablet, to the most recent high-tech phone on the market, JR geeks out on all of the above, but not too much of a geek that he doesn't LOVE sports! Football, baseball, hockey & NASCAR are just a few of JR's favorite sports. He has a soft spot in his heart for The Pine Tree Camp for Children and Adults with Disabilities, he loves the Q-106.5 Pine Tree Camp Egg Ride for this reason, and the fact that when he lived in 'The County' he was an avid snowmobiler, and gets his one chance to ride during this event every year, granting Mother Nature blesses us with snow. JR was recently raised as a Master Mason in Hampden, Maine and is looking forward to becoming a Shriner in the Anah Temple Shrine in Bangor, Maine this June. Family, community service, and music keeps JR sane...well as sane as a 'Breakfast Flake' can be!
