It never fails. Whenever New Year's Eve rolls around, the song that fills my head and spills out into humming is 'Auld Lang Syne.' But it's not the version sung at parties. Instead it's a haunting and sweet rendition by a Celtic singer from one of my favorite movies. Here's the video and wishes from my home to yours for a very Happy New Year!

I think I've watched nearly every episode of 'Sex and the City,' and I've seen both the movies. (Loved the first one, hated the second!) One of my favorite clips from the first movie is set on New Year's Eve. As all four stars celebrate the holiday, the soft voice of Mairi Campbell sets the mood with a somewhat different version of the New Year's classic.

The video features the scenes from the movie. But, even if you're not a fan of Carrie and the gang, you'll love the music. And maybe you'll be humming it in a year, like me!

The song is shared with sincere wishes that 2015 brings you all that you hope for and that 2014 is left with no regrets. For me, I changed up my professional life a lot this year, moving to news and the Q-106.5 morning show. There are definitely no regrets there, as I'm having a blast! My children are happy and in love, my granddaughter is healthy and beautiful, and I have the cutest dog on the planet to brighten my days. Of course, above all, I have a wonderful man to share my life with who's transitioned quite well to living with a woman who's in bed by 9 every night.  My life's blessings are plentiful.

Happy, Happy New Year, to you and yours!
