The Penobscot County Sheriff's Office has arrested a man in connection with an armed robbery at a Dysart's Travel Stop. A surveillance video showed the robbery in progress.

Chief Deputy Troy Morton said today in a press release that James Manning, age 22 of Newburgh is facing charges in connection with his involvement in the Newburgh Dysart's Travel Stop robbery.

Because it's an ongoing investigation, no other details are being released. Manning is expected to make his first court appearance today.

Last week, the Sheriff's office released to the media a video of the robbery in progress. The frightening video shows clerks hitting the floor and one customer standing still as the gunman waved his weapon around. You can view the video here.
