Sheriff's Deputies are seeking the public's help in connection with an armed robbery at a Dysart's Travel Stop. Scary images show a robber pointing a handgun at clerks and a customer before running out with some cash.

It was around 10 o'clock Friday night when an armed man walked into the Newburgh Dysart's Travel Stop as it was closing. He pushed a customer aside and pointed a handgun at the clerk who had dropped to the floor. She threw an envelope of cash at the man and he ran out the door.

Penobscot County Chief Deputy Troy Morton says the department has been aggressively investigating this incident and is now seeking the public's help with any relevant information. Dysart's Travel Stop is located on Route 69 in Newburgh, next to the interstate. Anyone who was in the area of Route 69, the North Road, Murray Road, North County Road, or the interstate in Newburgh around that time and saw something suspicious is asked to call the Penobscot County Sheriff's office at 947-4585.
