The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm watch for much of eastern Maine for Wednesday afternoon into Thursday.

The latest forecast is calling for another 8 inches of snow for the Bangor area with lesser amounts north and west. The snow is expected to start in the Bangor area around 1 p.m. on Wednesday, but the bulk of the snow is expected Wednesday night into Thursday morning.

The new snow will come within 48 hours of blizzard that dumped upwards of two feet of snow on the area, causing treacherous driving conditions.

Here's the good news: The three-day President's Day weekend looks party-to-mostly sunny with high temperatures around 38 degrees!
