American’s Sign Petition for New American Flag [VIDEO]

There has been a lot of recent controversy in America over different symbolic flags including the Confederate flags in the southern states and the rainbow flags that represent the LGBT community. Because of this, YouTube user Mark Dice has set out to see how many Americans would sign a fake petition to take down the existing flag.

After the Supreme Court's recent ruling on same-sex marriage over 10,000 signatures have been collected to change the current stripes on the American flag to rainbow colors instead of red and white. This might be some of the inspiration behind Dice's new flag design idea.

Dice walks around the beach area of San Diego, California attempting to gain signatures for a new American flag that would represent a 'New world order" because the current flag "is offensive to some immigrants and is associated with imperialism and racism". Fortunately not everyone agrees to sign the petition, sadly, some do!

The petition is fake and more of a social experiment than anything else. But some people take it seriously, so is a new flag design that far-fetched?
