The stars of the hit show 'American Pickers' are coming to Maine! And they're looking for some good stuff to pick through. Do you have some? Let them know!

I love 'American Pickers.' As a matter of fact, Jim and I have often discussed how much fun that would be, scouring the country for valuable loot that's just sitting around collecting dust. I have one friend who dislikes the show because he feels the guys are cheating the owners of the stuff they buy. But, let's face it, most of it is sitting around in garages and basements, and the owners aren't making anything on it until Mike and Frank come along!

If you've never seen the show, check out the video above. In this segment, they find an old turkey call and a Grand Ole Opry sign. Cool!

So according to the Facebook page for the Friends of Machias Bay Area Chamber of Commerce, Mike and Frank will be in Maine in August. They're mostly planning a trip to the Eastern part of the state, but would consider going elsewhere for the right kinds of items.

If you think you have something they'd be interested in, email them your name, phone number, town, state, along with pictures you think Mike and Frank would be interested in at: AmericanPickers@Cineflix.com, or call and leave a message at 646-493-2184.

One item to note is that only large collections will be considered for the show. Some of the things they're looking for are on this list that they sent the Chamber:
