Acadia Celebrates National Park Service’s 99th Birthday with Free Admittance Tuesday
There are about 400 different National Parks across the country and tomorrow it will be free for all to enter every one of those parks including Acadia National Park!
Every year the National Park Service celebrates it's birthday by allowing guests to visit free of charge. These days are a great way for everyone to get a chance to enjoy all the park has to offer.
Of course fees will still apply for services like tours and for reserving a camping spot.
The biggest drawback to these days are the large crowds that tend to attend. Luckily this year free day is on a Tuesday which might cut down on some of the crowding. Don't let this discourage you too much though! The park is large enough for everyone!
