A Silent, Yet Familiar Sight On Main Street in Bangor Moves To Its New Home!

The 'Silent Messenger' has proudly stood for many years in front of the Anah Shrine on Main Street in Bangor, welcoming Nobles, their ladies, and the many people who have entered the Anah Shrine. With the acquisition of the new home for the Anah Shrine at 1404 Broadway in Bangor, yesterday the familiar 'Silent Messenger' found it's new home!

As the Anah Shriners continue preparations to make the move from 586 Main Street in Bangor, to their new home at 1404 Broadway in Bangor, a lot of work will be done over the summer, but yesterday, Anah's 'Silent Messenger' was gently taken from it's pedestal and transported to it's new stand, right in the middle of the new walkway that stretches from the parking lot, to the Silent Messenger, then on to the Main Entrance of the new Anah Shrine.

The Anah Shriners expect to be fully moved into the new location later this year, and will host the Bangor Chamber of Commerce 'Business After Hours' in November, the evening before the opening of the 4th Annual Feztival of Trees!
