A Missing Dad is Located

It's not often we get to report on good news, but that's what this story is all about.

Last week, Kelly Frye of Orland reached out to news outlets after she and her family had exhausted petty much every means to establish contact with her father.

Friday we told you about Robert MacDonald who had lost contact with his family here in Maine following the devastating typhoon that slammed the Philippines.

According to Frye, her Dad was able to talk briefly this weekend to her Aunt and he told her they we closed up in a bathroom for about seven hours as they rode out the storm. They have lost everything, but are alive.

The family would like to extend their deepest appreciation to all of those who sent prayers and messages of support.
