Even though the song has little to do with Portland, Maine, I think it's an honor to be mentioned in a Tim McGraw song.

The song that once stirred up the Portland community when it was released is now a fan favorite. With lyrics like "Portland, Maine. I don't know where that is, I don't want to know." It is easily understandable why Portland was up in arms at first. But if you listen to the story behind the lyrics you would realize this song is about a break up with the woman taking off to the Port City.

Ray Gibson is a Canada native trying to break into the American country scene. After releasing her first self titled EP in 2013 she has been preforming and writing in preparation for her next full length album she is now recording in Massachusetts.

Her talent has not gone unnoticed as she has preformed with Canadian country artist Aaron Pritchett, provided tour support for Tyler Ward, and some of her earliest work captured the attention of country superstar Carrie Underwood!
