Luxottica. Remember that name. It’s the one multi-billion dollar company that just about has the monopoly on the eye wear industry. Chances are pretty good that the eyeglasses that you are wearing right now were made by them.
What’s it mean? It means with minimal competition they can charge outrageous prices. If you’ve purchased eye wear recently, like I have, you’ve felt the pain in the wallet.
