State Police have arrested three people in connection with a string of convenience store robberies in Western Maine. Two of the suspects are from Nebraska and were staying in Maine to work in a traveling fair concession stand.

Department of Public Safety spokesman Steve McCausland says the trio are charged in connection with a burglary at the 'Our Village Market' in the town of New Vineyard. Charges are pending in connection with convenience store burglaries in the towns of Jay and Weld. Jay Police posted pictures on the department's Facebook page earlier this week of the suspects. The images came from the store's security surveillance camera.

Charged were 21-year-old Einer Bonilla and 27-year-old Duane Bailey, both of Nebraska, and 20-year-old D'Kota Rowe, age 20 of East Dixfield. Troopers arrested the trio at Rowe's home, and also seized alcohol and tobacco products that had been taken from the stores. Bailey and Bonilla were living with Rowe to work for his mother's concession stand that operates at local fairs.

State Troopers have worked on the investigation with the Franklin Sheriff's Office and the Jay and Wilton Police Departments.
