The 90's at Nine Online today features Sawyer Brown! This band could certainly carry off a ballad, but their party tunes were, by far, the favorites. Like this one!

Bobby Randall, Jim Scholten, Joe Smyth, Greg 'Hobie' Hubbard, and lead singer Mark Miller founded the band in 1981, when they were all working as part of a back-up band for pop singer Don King. Originally called 'Savannah,' they changed the name to Sawyer Brown, the name of a road near where they practiced.

Did you know that drummer Joe Smyth is a Mainer? He was born in Portland in 1957. As a matter of fact, if you look closely at the Budweiser guitar in our studios, you'll see Joe's signature!
