The 90's at Nine Online today features a professional wrestler-turned Country singer! Chad Brock has worn many hats, including the same one I wear!

Florida native Brock was a star athlete in high school, but it was his time spent singing in the choir that convinced him music was his passion. He moved to Nashville and signed a record deal with Warner Brothers in 1993, but didn't release any music for three years.

As a way to promote the new artist, Warner Brothers encouraged Brock to attend the World Championship Wrestling (WCW) training camp. He wrestled professionally from 1994 to 1996 but was forced to retire, however, after suffering an injury.

In 1998, he released his first single 'Evangeline,' to less-than-mediocre response. The song peaked at number 51 on the billboard charts. After several equally moderate singles, he released his first (and only) #1 single, 'Yes!'

Oh, and as for that shared hat, Chad left Nashville in 2005 to become a Florida radio morning show host. His co-host was none other than country comedian Cledus T. Judd!
