90’s at Nine Online – Brooks and Dunn ‘My Next Broken Heart’ [VIDEO]

Fresh back from vacation, I thought I'd start my week out with a Brooks and Dunn video! They're not easy to find. But this one is awesome. Brooks and Dunn Country, a rodeo, and a dog!

Kix Brooks and Ronnie Dunn were both pursuing solo careers as singer/songwriters when it was suggested that they pair up. Nashville Record Executive Tim DuBois suggested they'd make a great country duo, and the two decided to join forces in 1990. The rest, as they say, is history!

Brooks and Dunn were signed to Arista Nashville in 1990 and dominated the country scene until their retirement in 2010.

'My Next Broken Heart' was cowritten by Kix and Ronnie, along with songwriter Don Cook, and released in September, 1991. It was the second single from the 'Brand New Man' album and their second number one!
