’90s At Nine Online: Billy Dean ‘Trying to Hide a Fire in the Dark’ [VIDEO]

My favorite '90s artist has to be Billy Dean. I love his voice! And, okay, I love his look too! This morning, I played one of my favorite Billy Dean songs, 'Trying to Hide a Fire in the Dark.' Since I'm so in love with Billy, I thought I'd also share the video!

Billy co-wrote this song with Tim Nichols about a man who's in the relationship but has fallen for someone else. It was released in November of 1992 as the first single from Dean's single 'Fire in the Dark.' The song reached #6 on Billboard's Hot Country Singles & Tracks Chart in 1993 and #1 on the RPM Country Country Tracks Chart in Canada.
