More Than 4,600 Without Power in Hancock County

Strong winds have knocked out power to over 4600 Emeral Maine customers on Monday, October 10th. According to the recent Emera Maine Power Outage report there were 4629 customers without power in Hancock County.

Of the 4629 without power in Hancock County, more than 3500 customers were on Mount Desert Island.

According to Bob Potts, the spokesperson for Emera Maine, crews have been deployed and will remain in the filed making repairs until all customers are safely resolved.

The public is urged to slow down and move over to allow linecrews to safely work on making the repairs.
