With much anticipation, on Friday, April 12, the movie '42' will be released to theaters.

With Harrison Ford as one of the major stars in this historical drama, '42' may just be one of the most applauded movies of 2013. It will no doubt be a movie that is sure to make many of us ashamed and uncomfortable of a dark time in our American society.

'42' is the number that was worn by one of baseball's greatest black players of all time: Jackie Robinson. Robinson's joining of the Brooklyn Dodgers in 1947, ushered in a new era of race relations between whites and blacks. And what better way to build relationships than with America's favorite past-time...baseball.

Chadwick Boseman plays the part of Robinson, while Ford plays the the part of Dodger's president, Branch Rickey. The trailer looks like we won't be disappointed.
