Someone drove up to a Southern Maine business and stole roughly $30,000 worth of snowblowers over the weekend.

The Portland Press Herald reports, the heist took place at Chad Little Outdoor Power Equipment in Brunswick just before 11:00 Sunday night. The suspects drove a U-Haul into the parking lot and took approximately an hour to load numerous Honda HSS snowblowers onto the truck. Each snowblower weighs hundreds of pounds and retails for between $2,800 and $3,300. Once it was full with about a dozen machines, they headed out, traveling in the direction of I-295.

The thieves were driving a U-Haul painted with a 'zebra-head Idaho' design, but had no other distinguishing features. The culprits can be seen driving up to and away from the store, but they parked out of sight of the surveillance cameras so there are no suspect descriptions and the license plate wasn't visible on the recording. Police say it's clear the suspects have prior experience with commercial theft.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Brunswick Police Department at (207) 721-4344.
