2015 Moose Lottery Results – Did You Win?

The 2015 Moose Lottery drawing was held over the weekend at the Maine Moose Festival in Bethel. If you applied for a permit, you'll want those results to find out if you're taking to the woods in the Fall!

It's not an easy lottery to win. 2,740 names were drawn over the weekend, which probably sounds like a lot. But the fact is, over fifty-two thousand people submitted their names, from all over the world. Hunting for moose in Maine is a sought-after activity for game hunters but, in the interest of preserving one of the state's signature animals, only a few are allowed to hunt them.
