Country music took center stage on CBS Wednesday night (Dec. 5), where the 2013 Grammy nominees were announced during a fun-filled hour of music. Taylor Swift and Kelly Clarkson picked up early nominations, and Swift joined rapper LL Cool J as host of the Grammy nominations concert. After just a few minutes of the broadcast, Dierks Bentley and the Band Perry were performing Johnny Cash songs for viewers.

Moments later, the Grammy nominees for Record of the Year were announced. Included were Swift's 'We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together' and 'Stronger' by Clarkson. Shortly after Hunter Hayes was announced as a Best New Artist and Best Country Solo Performance nominee. He also scored a nomination in the Best Country Album category, giving him more nominations (three) than any other country star, except Swift who also picked up a nod in the Best Song Written for Visual Media category.

The 2013 Grammy Awards will air on February 10, 2013 at 8PM ET on CBS.
