A fire in a Dexter apartment building has displaced three families. 

WABI-TV reports the fire was called in at just after 10:30 Thursday night. By the time crews arrived, the front of the building was showing visible flames. They worked through the night to battle the blaze on Free Street.

15 people were displaced by the fire but no one was hurt. The Red Cross is helping out the victims while the State Fire Marshal's office works to determine how the fire started.
